You are cordially invited to celebrate the musical legacy and contributions of Rudolph Ganz (1877-1972), during a series of three concerts presented in early 2019. Each concert will have a different program, different performers, and a different location in order to reach new audiences.
Recitals will feature Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Contemporary music, including pieces by Ganz himself, some of which have never been recorded commercially and are seldom performed. Other composers featured are contemporaries of Ganz and those he knew personally, including Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Béla Bartók, Frank Martin, and Cécile Chaminade.
Bow & Hammer will be performing Blues and Perpetuum mobile from the 2nd Sonata for Violin and Piano by Maurice Ravel.
The performance is FREE.
