Happy New Year!
We're kicking off the new year with a brand new concert series! Bow & Hammer is commandeering Sundays in 2018 with a 3-concert-residency at the Promontory Chicago in Hyde Park. These "Chamber Sunday's" will happen on Sunday, Jan 21, Feb 11, and Mar 25 at 3:00pm.
We're calling this concert series Bow & Hammer: Deconstructed. Get a deeper “how to” perspective on collaborative performance. Each program will showcase individual artists before combining them into a collective performance. Gain more expertise on identifying and appreciating specific components in collaborative works!
With doors opening at 2:00pm, go early for brunch or stay after the show for dinner. It’ll be a great day in Hyde Park.
This is the 1st of our 3 concert-residency at the Promontory. We’ll begin this series by highlighting the individual components of Bow & Hammer:
Ysaÿe: Sonata no 2 for solo violin
Ravel: La Valse
Bow & Hammer
Bartok: Sonata No 2 for Violin and Piano
